San Marino, a State in our state, has always intrigued me.
When I found a coupon with a tempting offer I got it immediately: two nights with breakfast to be used within the next six months.
I parked it temporarily in the “important” mails folder in my inbox and I started flipping the calendar to search for the first available weekend.
Finally in April we were able to identify two days without commitments (very strange thing for us, you can bet!) and we left for the Monte Titano.
We stayed in a hotel that we can recommend to everyone, but especially to families with children: Centro Vacanze San Marino
We stayed there during the spring but looking at the buildings, the location, the organization and the activities proposed, I would say that in summer it must be really beautiful there.
It is a structure with several arrangements: caravan area, bungalows, stone built cottages furnished as the hotel rooms or the wooden ones equipped with a kitchenette.
No doubt a wide choice of possibilities to spend the holiday on their own also organizing meals or use the property as a hotel that offers both bed and breakfast and board solution.
We stayed in one of the brick houses; the very noticeable thing is the terrace in front of the door that allows you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place, entertain social relations with neighbors and observe the animals that are spread around in the property.
Upon our arrival, a beautiful peacock greeted us with his wheel, and not far from our house a field equipped for dogs training caught our attention during a lazy morning spent enjoying the spring sunshine.
While on our way to breakfast at the bar we skirted the pool area; pity that the temperature did not allow, but I would gladly have taken a bath in that gigantic irregular pool!
From what we have read in programs and brochures of the Holiday Centre, in summertime sports and recreational activities are very many.
The staff is also very helpful and always ready to give valuable suggestions: they recommended us a couple of restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine and we were not disappointed at all!
